MLK Lebanon Children's Book Drive

MLK Lebanon will hold a book drive for Lebanon City Schools to provide every elementary student with their very own personal copy of a book about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

This book drive is inspired by Rev. Corey Wagonfield, pastor of Resurrection Lutheran Church and member of MLK Lebanon. His wife, Megan, who works in the Hamilton City School district expressed how having diverse learning materials have helped improve student outcomes in her school. Rev. Wagonfield felt that this would be extremely beneficial to the Lebanon City School district.

BOOK LIST WILL INCLUDE THESE TITLES:

"Martin's Big Words: The Life of Dr. Martin Luther King, ,Jr." by Doreen Rappaport, Bryan Collier
"I Have a Dream" by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Kadir Nelson

Thank you to the project team: Rev. Corey Wagonfield, Laura Stanton, Renee Forrester, Raye Kimberlin
