We appreciate your continued support of the MLK Day Celebration in Lebanon, Ohio.
The 40 Days of Peace, as part of the Communities of Peace initiative from Service For Peace will offer opportunities for diverse groups and individuals to serve together in a variety of creative projects for the improvement of our communities.
The 40 Days of Peace initiative brings together individuals, families, community organizations, neighborhoods and law enforcement agencies to promote a greater cooperation and a sustainable reduction in violence in our communities. The 40 Days of Peace began on Martin Luther King Day, January 21, 2013 and will run for six weeks.
TAKE THE PLEDGE TODAY!
As an indication of my support for the 40 Days of Peace in my community, I HEREBY PLEDGE that, during the period from January 21, Martin Luther King Day, until March 1, 2013, I will do my utmost to be a model of ethical behavior, integrity, and good citizenship. I will treat others with the respect with which I wish to be treated. I will go out of my way to be kind to others and to contribute in any way I can to create the “beloved community” envisioned by Dr. King.
Help our community and give to make our city and region a better place for all!
